Laurentius is an open-source system for secure and reliable electronic document exchange suited for use primarily in (public) institutions.

It uses an open protocol for secure and reliable electronic document exchange, developed for secure electronic delivery of court documents by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia.

It is based on ebXML 3.0 standard using AS4 profile.

The system consists of the following open-source technologies (packages):

- demo application uses maven and jdk 1.8,
- Jetty web application server,
- apacheFOP visualisation engine,
- apache-cxf using ws-security (and WS-ReliableMessaging)

Project is divided in two sub-projects:

- msh-xsd: schemes and jaxb objects for OASIS, W3C, etc.
- msh-AS4: demo example.
