eCustoms represents the use of modern information and communication technologies for customs purposes.
The eCarina Portal is designed to increase the effectiveness of customs control and ensure the continuous flow of data. This facilitates more efficient customs clearance, reduces administrative barriers, combats fraud, organized crime and terrorism, safeguards tax interests, enhances the security of intellectual property and cultural heritage, increases the security of goods and international trade, and enhances the protection of health and the environment.
The Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia offers the possibility to use free applications and services on the electronic portal e-Carina:
- eImport (possibility to submit an export customs declaration, review of submitted declarations, printing SIL, receipt of confirmation of exit of goods)
- TARIC3 (nomenclature, import / export, meursing, regulations, anti-dumping / countervailing duties, computation-control module, CAP tariff quotas)
- ETROD (application of excise tax, submission of electronic excise bills, inspection of submitted bills)
- EMCS (submission and confirmation of an electronic excise document)
- eEnforcement (sending proposals for enforcement)
- Insights into insurance instruments (general customs, excise and transit)
- MRN-tracking (the possibility of a shipment inquiry based on the MRN number)
