Information Security Act regulates the field of information security and measures to achieve a high level of security of the networks and information systems in the Republic of Slovenia, which are essential for the smooth functioning of the state in all security conditions and provide essential services for the maintenance of key social and economic activities in Republic of Slovenia. It lays down minimum security requirements and requirements for notification of incidents for the taxpayers of this law. It also regulates the competencies, tasks, organization and operation of the competent national information security authority, the single point of contact for information security, the national group for dealing with incidents in the field of security of electronic networks and information and the group for dealing with incidents in the field of electronic network security and information from state authorities administration in the field of information security.
