Catalogue

Search within the site. The repositories of the NIO portal are used as catalogues. These catalogues contain information on datasets and data structure, their use, data administrator etc. The owner of the information is always the institution which created them, regardless if the institution is part of the private sector or a non-govermental organisation. The owner of all information within the public information system is the state.
IMPORTANT!
Since 9.12.2016, the "DATA" are being published on our NEW OPEN DATA PORTAL "OPSI": https://podatki.gov.si/data/search .

Slovenian State Cloud (SSC or DRO) represents a computer infrastructure for direct budget users. It operates as cloud ecosystem for public service providers and provides them with secure storage for government and citizen data. State Cloud operates as central IT infrastructure and development point and offers services for citizens and companies, and the ability to quickly achieve their business objectives using the concept of cloud computing. ‒ IT infrastructure is owned and operated by the government, it provides services that use sensitive, personal and other data and information that the government does not want to store outside its environment. Governmental agencies are using central State Cloud and its shared infrastructures and services according to their individual needs. ‒ The State Cloud is a logical set of central support infrastructure and hardware and computer software supported by central government in order to reduce operating costs and therefore drive internal efficiencies within government. For example, it comprises UPS systems, server blades, various disk systems, access terminals, various virtualization platforms, operating systems, proprietary and open source software, control systems, management systems, hardware and software-defined network components, etc. The basis of the DRO computer cloud is the virtualization of hardware resources, which are arranged in three logical groups (data centers) in two locations (Ljubljana, Maribor): PDC (LJ), SP3 (LJ) and NIC (MB). ‒ Within The State Cloud there are offered central services for very different areas. For internal needs there are infrastructure services IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), and partly the entire PaaS (Platform as a Service) computer environments, and the latter, together with SaaS (Software as a Service) software for the end users, are also included in the general part of the service catalog. So the DRO offers, for example, central e-mail services, electronic document storage services, central backup services, universal storage of objects (documents, cases, multimedia files), common building blocks (Security Platform, SI-CAS, SI-CES, Tray, IO-Module, Piwik, data warehouse, Business Intelligence, search engine, electronic signature, time stamping, e-delivery system, big file exchange system, service bus), hosting information systems and web presentation pages, etc. including information security services.

Semantic Analyser is an open source tool that uses artificial intelligence techniques to process natural language. It can be used to analyse Slovenian texts (e.g. legal documents), to determine which concepts are key to understanding the content and which of these are missing from a given vocabulary or dictionary (e.g. the vocabulary of basic concepts of public administration). The prototype was developed in collaboration with the Faculty of Computer Science and Informatics at the University of Ljubljana and is a set of building blocks of the Orange software system. The semantic analyser scans all the texts and extracts characteristic concepts from them. Depending on which concepts appear in several texts at the same time, it reveals the relatedness between them and, according to this criterion, determines groups and classifies the texts among them. The characteristic concepts of each group can be used to give a quick overview of the content covered in a given collection. A graphical representation shows which group a text belongs to and thus allows you to find texts that deal with related topics. Alternatively, we can describe the content we are looking for with a set of terms and find texts with these terms, as well as with terms that we have not mentioned but are close in content (e.g. synonyms, hyponymys, hypernyms). The characteristic terms become a link between documents, whereby we can discover interdependencies and/or contextual links between documents in one or more different text collections (e.g. finding the most relevant laws for a selected proposal for a measure from a collection of proposals for a measure). This tool also allows the selection of terms from the Central Vocabulary (https://nio.gov.si/nio/asset/centralni+besednjak?lang=en), which become a link between documents in one or more different text collections. For example, it is possible to find those legal documents that refer to a certain source of information in the vocabulary (register, record, list). Already prepared text collections (laws, proposals to government, etc.) that can be used, analysed and cross-referenced for related content are available at the following link: http://file.biolab.si/text-semantics/data/ A prototype with open source code and materials can be found at the following link: https://github.com/biolab/text-semantics In the future we plan to develop an application based on the already developed prototype that will be freely available online. For any further information on the Semantic Analyser tool, please contact: miha.jesenko@gov.si.

The Klasifikacije2GO platform is intended for the central management of classifications (code lists). All classifications should be in one, central place. Thus, there is no need for the same classifications are repeated through different applications and so there is no need for them to be maintained in different places. Individual applications access classifications using REST service calls. Vision: The main purpose of the project is a platform for establishing new classifications (code lists) and the migration and modernization of existing classifications (code lists). Use: Application Klasifikacije2GO offers : • Keeping classifications (code lists) in one place. • The same classification (code list) can be used in several applications. • Each classification (code list) can have any number of fields of the basic type (DATE, NUMBER, VARCHAR2 or a link to another classification or code list). • Import of already existing classification items (code lists) via CSV file. • Monitoring the audit trail (who and when changed something in the classification or code list). • Log in via ADFS: log in with the same user account as you have for the local domain computer. • Security scheme: you define access (insight, update, access) to classifications (code lists) to other users. • REST access to classifications (code lists) of public access (for the purpose of using classifications or code lists in other applications). Links (operates within HKOM network): • https://e2go-test.sigov.si/ords/f?p=300 (test) • https://e2go.sigov.si/ords/f?p=300 (production)
